Earlier in the Spring we had this 1968 airstream trailer booked in to the workshop. We managed to get the airstream in the workshop ready for action but, unfortunately, we had to down tools mid work due to the current lockdown situation. The customer requested all the work deemed necessary in order to get their trailer up to UK road legal standard so they can start getting out and about and putting it to good use.
The trailer is having a full axle replacement along with hitch and wheels. It also requires new tyres to ensure they all meet UK legal requirements. Some of the work has been carried out but it is currently awaiting completion once Boris gives us all the green flag. Look out for updates of when this trailer is complete and is finally out and about on the road in all its glory!
